1,000th Blog

As this blog has moved from one topic to the next; there have been milestones along the way.

Today is the 1,000th blog post since the first blog post back in July, 2012.

Many of the blogs have been food related - in fact 6 of the top 10 are my reviews of places to eat.

  1. Teachers and Leaders - 116 views
  2. Comforts of Home - 82 views
  3. Breakfast @ Hubbard Avenue Diner - 67
  4. Stalzy's Deli - 64
  5. Breakfast at Bluephies - 63
  6. Pancake Cafe - 63
  7. Moo-yah! - 61
  8. Chapter 6 - A Bad Day and a Blessing - 56
  9. Just Like I Thought... - 56
  10. A Trip to New Deli - 55
"Just Like I  Thought," "Teachers and Leaders," and "Comforts of Home" all revolve around the basketball tournament at the Lutheran school I attended way back when.

It's the remaining top 10 blog post that doesn't belong.  If you remember the game on Sesame Street, you might recall that game where the guest had to figure out which of these things doesn't belong. Chapter 6 - A Bad Day... deals with an accident affecting a farm family and the good they discovered as well.  The chapter was part of my first blog series, "On the Farm" that ran in 2014 over 35 weeks.

Locating readers of this blog is a trip around the world:

You - thanks - thank you for reading and checking in each day or every so often.  I'm enjoying this daily exercise of trying to pull together my thoughts in such a way that hopefully entertains, enlightens, or even exasperate.

You can write too.  If you like, out of the first 1,000 blogs there were only a couple of comments posted.

Thanks for making this milestone possible, and thanks for reading.  I'll see you again tomorrow.
