The first time I wrote about a visit to Madison Sourdough was 12 years ago.
Last Wednesday was my first time back, when the Foundation team enjoyed lunch on the patio on Williamson Street, or as it's better known, Willy Street.
It looked different than I recalled but the food was just as good.
The place looks good from outside with several tables topped with umbrellas and a smart neon sign announcing its presence.

While I had french toast the first time, for lunch I chose a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque soup. It was delicious.
The day was perfect to eat lunch al fresco. It was warm but not hot and a gentle breeze that left settings in place instead of blowing things around.
We weren't about to leave without some of the sweet treats that are their calling card; our crew left with cinnamon rolls and wonderful cookies.
