Happy Thanksgiving

Giving thanks should be natural - a continuous mode of living.

There are members of our families to thank for many things - great and small.

Our friends and work colleagues deserve appreciation - just think of the times you forget their concern or problem because you wanted to share yours instead of listening.

The jobs that feed our families lend purpose to life.

Good health or awareness of life's fragility... we should give thanks for both.

I'm not patient or understanding enough; certainly not as much as I want others to be of my concerns.

Today.  Especially today - we try to say thanks correctly.

We thank our family, our friends, our colleagues, and the people we encounter day to day.

Somebody is missing.

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Psalm 105:1-3
Between the turkey, the football, and the extra-early Black Friday shopping - pause to give thanks to Him, the Creator from whom all things come.

Happy Thanksgiving!
