There is a herd of sheep and a coop full of chicken that are moved around the farm to promote productivity in the pastures while raising animals that provide wool, quality meat, and eggs.
Since 2018, Four Winds grows hops that are grown and processed for a variety of brewers. They also grow a plant called Kernza, which is perennial grain crop, which doesn't stress the land like most crops.

| The refurbished barn hosts events. |
We enjoyed the last pizza night of the year Thursday evening thanks to the colleague who put in a reservation before it was sold out. The pizza was excellent with a crisp crust.
Our group started outside sitting on the patio close to the wood-fired oven but two of us were drinking root beer, which was a poor choice because it attracted yellow jackets like a dinner bell.
We retreated to the top level of the refurbished barn which get used for events from meetings to weddings. Thursday night four tables were set up in case weather (or bees) chased more people inside.
We ended our evening around a fire pit. The flames and smoke helped chase away insects and the chill in the damp air. We left around seven and not less than a mile down the road it started to sprinkle.
There are other events throughout the year at the Four Winds Farm, so check it out while you're waiting for the pizza nights to return in 2027.
