 Sometimes there isn't much to write about. Today is one of those days. 

 In looking at things that happened on this day in history, this one caught my eye: 

 On this date in history, June 2, 1983, the movie, "Attack of Killer Tomatoes" was released in Germany.

 Released in America five years earlier, I saw Attack of the Killer Tomatoes years later when I was in college. It was silly and outrageous, which isn't a bad combination for folks wanting to laugh at the ridiculous.

 My primary memory is the song that came with the movie and it's refrain, "Attack... of the Killer Tomatoes!"

 It received poor reviews. Variety wrote that the film "isn't even worthy of sarcasm," while only 27% of critics gave it a positive review and another metric indicated the movie received reviews expressing "overwhelming dislike."
