| Bike path thru Ridgeway. 5/30/26 dwm |
The length of the bike path concentrates walkers and runners close to small communities and seeing bikes pedal past is a relatively rare sight.
There was one place where bikes caught up, which got the attention of dog walker ahead who didn't have it on a leash (state law). They quickly controlled the dog and the three of us said thanks as we headed up the path.
After the ride, I cleaned up, then did the laundry while watching the Brewers lose to Houston and work on the ride nine blog post.
Sunday is usually quiet, but it changed after church when we decided to go to Janesville for lunch and shopping before for ice cream at a stand run by a long-time friend of mine.
The way Frostie Freeze makes chocolate chip malts is better than any other I've had, with chocolate morsels in every taste!

We shared a box of chicken tenders, which came with fries, two slices of Texas Toast, and a soda. We had already planned to stop at "F and F Tire" which was our code name for Frostie Freeze when the boys were little.
After the Brewers took the three-game series with the Astros, we watched, Remarkably Bright Creatures on Netflix. It stars Sally Field in a wonderfully whimsical and moving story.
The week in the office came and went in a hurry. The Foundation has an intern this summer who started on Wednesday. She's off to a good start and I believe will be a great addition to the team.

I had Friday off and spent some of the day at the clinic for my annual check up. The lab tests had come back looking good, so I'm thankful for good health.
In the afternoon, we saw Star Wars - The Mandalorian and Grogu. It picks up after the Empire is defeated by the New Republic. You may have seen The Mandalorian streaming for three seasons on Disney+ but if you haven't watched it, you can still watch their story on the big screen without missing anything. I enjoyed it, but I'm a fan of the Star Wars saga.
Most of the week was sunny with beautiful warm days and cool nights; before sunrise Friday morning we welcomed the rain because it's been drier than usual.
The new week looks busy - as I finish this post I don't know if I can ride tomorrow - which may be a subject for next week's post. As always, thanks for reading, enjoy your week!
