April 16 is the perfect day to recognize the people we rely on for advice when it comes to our finances or wading through our records and receipts to get our income taxes done on time.

We had to find a new tax preparer this year because the person we've relied on for years retired.

We chose Mason Tax and Financial, Inc. after some research online and a short phone conversation. We met in person with Cole as he went through our documents and felt comfortable working with him and his advice.

It's a big deal finding someone you can trust and rely on to do a good job on your taxes. They need to know the laws when it comes to taxes at the local, state, and national level. That's job one. However, most of us want someone who can help us understand what is being done and why.

The other advisors in our life, whether it's someone who works at your financial institution or the person you work with to make sure the risks in your life are covered make sure everything can be made whole financially if the worst happens. Be sure to thank them today for their work all year-long!
