Several Major League Teams said good-bye to their broadcast partner when it went bankrupt. Major League Baseball is now producing games for Milwaukee. Over-the-air TV stations around Wisconsin plan to show 10 games during the season of free-TV, with most of the rest on a streaming service that costs $!9/month.
I was prepared to subscribe with a streaming service when I read that channel 243 on TDS will show nearly every game the Milwaukee Brewers play. Beside the 10 games shown on local, over-the-air stations, other games might be picked up by one of the several networks that pay for the exclusive rights to show some games to the entire country.
The Milwaukee Brewers were a good team in the early 1980s, reaching the postseason in 1981 before losing the World Series to St. Louis in 7 games in 1982. The Brewers, and their fans, seemed to live off that team and those memories a long time.
It wasn't until 2008 that the Brew Crew returned to the playoffs, this time as a National League team. In 2011 they reached the National League Championship Series before losing to the Cardinals.
Reaching the play-offs was a big deal for me. I became a fan in 1970 and with the exception of those two years in the 1980s, the Brewers were bad. Each year I hoped the Brewers would be good enough to stay interesting until early August when the Packers started their pre-season practice.

In 2025, Milwaukee won more games than any other team, securing home-field advantage. They didn't
have enough in the tank to reach the World Series, losing to the Los Angeles Dodgers who won the title for a second straight year.
The Brewers have a lot of talent on the field, in the dugout, and in the minor leagues. It's reasonable to say that if the team stays healthy and the pitching staff reaches their potential, they are a legitimate contender to win it all.

None of that means they will will win the World Series, but I like their chances. I expect the Brewers to win 90 games, enough for a fourth straight National League Central Division title, or qualify for a Wild Card berth.
The Packers and Bucks have championships. The Brewers winning a World Series would make a lot of avid cheese-head Brewer fans cry and rejoice.
Some team is going to win, why not the Brewers? Let's Go, Brew Crew!
