Make Your Bed

It's National Make Your Bed Day - and of course, one thing you should do today is.... make your bed. Of
course.

A big reason to make your bed is that it will help you sleep better.

A made bed is much more inviting than one with the sheets and covers strewn all over. In fact, a study by National Sleep Foundation found that people who make their bed daily, get a better night's sleep.

It's not just the discipline of making your bed important, a bed with the sheet and cover neatly covering the bed with fluffed pillows near the headboard make our bedroom a sanctuary where we can sleep safe and sound.

A tidy bedroom reduces stress and promotes calm.

Completing a small task like making the bed provides a sense of pride and control, which motivates us to tackle other goals.

A clean bedroom helps focus and concentration.

If, for some reason, I forget to make my bed in the morning, I'll make it before getting into bed, otherwise the disorder and lack of completion is unsettling. 

There's a whole day dedicated to reminding you to make your bed... why not give it a shot.
