Bracket Time!

 This blog started in August 2012 and ever since I've written something about the men's college basketball tournament each spring. For a number of years, I've shared my bracket before the madness starts and the bracket is busted.

 This year, I'd like you to join me. Our group is called "Pointdexter's Picks" through ESPN's Bracket Challenge.

You can make up to 25 entries and all picks lock before the first game is played on Thursday, March 20, 2025.  ESPN creates the challenge and all rules are theirs. The writer of the blog is NOT providing any prizes but WILL give you praise and post the top ten brackets after each round. I hope you have fun, do well, and recognize why gambling on this stuff is no way to make a living. There is no charge to create a bracket.

After the selection show revealed the brackets, it appeared to me that Wisconsin lost their opportunity to play in Milwaukee during the first weekend with a poor finish to the regular season. I'm concerned about their opponent and how well they will adapt to playing at 5,280 feet above sea level.

I submitted three brackets (out of a possible 25) but will use the first one as the official "They used to call me Pointdexter" bracket.   Here it is:
