Don't Cry

Among the many 'days' and invented holidays, this one may have merit, it's "don't cry over spilled milk
day."

The idea is to put the past behind you and look ahead. It's easier to drive looking through the windshield than with your eyes on the rear-view mirror.

Whatever we might be grieving - the loss of a job. a break-up, or even a horrific mistake - there is a point when you have to take off the sack cloth and dust off the ashes. That's not disrespect, it's life.

It won't be easy but it's the right thing to do.

What we can do is figure out why the milk spilled (metaphorically speaking) and take steps so we don't spill it again. It will help if you think of the possible outcomes for any particular situation, then have a backup plan of what to do if the first plan falls apart.

Don't cry. Prepare, and look ahead - you can't find your future behind you!
