Two to Go!

The Packers dominated Monday night, defeating the New Orleans Saints 27 - 0 and boosting their record to 11 - 4 with games left in Minnesota and back home against the Bears.

After splitting the first four games between wins and losses, Green Bay has won nine of the last eleven.

Three teams have beaten the Packers - Philadelphia, Detroit, and Minnesota - they are the three teams with a better record than Green Bay.

The Pack can even their series with the Vikings Sunday afternoon. They beat three teams that had a winning record when they played, although there isn't much they can do about the schedule.

The win over the Saints punched the Packers post-season ticket; the next two games will determine who they play the first weekend.  Green Bay can't win the NFC North, which means they will be a Wild Card team and seeded 5th, 6th, or 7th for the play-offs.

The 7th seed team would play Philadelphia, the 6th seed play the L.A. Rams, and the 5th seed play either Tampa or Atlanta (tied for first in the NFC South).

Minnesota holds the 5th seed  now; when the Packers win their last two games and Minnesota loses twice, Green Bay could jump into 5th.  If Green Bay loses both they could drop to 7th.

When Green Bay won Super Bowl XXXI, they were the sixth seed, which was the lowest position at the time, so it can be done.

This Packer team has a legitimate shot to win the championship. They have an effective, highly talented quarterback, a dynamic and powerful running back; a strong receiving corps; and an offensive line that's held up all season. The defense is missing a couple key pieces but continues to play well and at a level that's above recent Green Bay teams.

I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm looking forward to an exciting ride with the 2024 Green Bay Packers.

This week, the Packers have one job, beat the Vikings. Go Pack, Go!
