Write a Letter

It's National Letter Writing Day - grab a pen and paper and send someone you know a short note or longer message.

Emails are effective and text messages are efficient.  Type-written letters or news letters are fine but none of them convey the feelings associated with letter writing.

The person reading your note appreciates the time it took to put pen to paper and scratch out your thoughts and feelings.

Share a story, a memory, or dream - it will mean more told with blue or black ink in your distinctive style of writing.

Thank you notes are great but the best message is one that expresses to your friend what you like about them and why your friendship is important.

In a world going 100-miles per hour, slowing things down to write a note by hand is the message.  Try it today and plan to make it a part of your routine.  You'll be glad you did.
