Angelo's

Angelo's in McFarland. 5/6/2022

We ate at Angelo's in McFarland for the first time last week.  It was delightful.

The place serves pizza and Italian dishes (I enjoyed a sumptuous bowl of spaghetti) plus a Friday fish fry.

The interior is comfortable with plenty of wood furniture and beautiful real wood boards.  The fun, kitschy part is taken care of with a large collection of Hamm's beer memorabilia, posters, and signage.  They also sell Hamm's, which, if you don't know, comes "from the land of sky blue waters." (Also known as La Crosse.)

It's locally owned by a couple with years of restaurant experience and is reasonably priced.  I can only speak for one restroom but some of you will enjoy admiring the photos of Marilyn Monroe in one of them.

While we ate, I noticed couples on date nights, a soccer team gathered around an over-sized table, and several families enjoying a happy place to end their week.

It was very good and worth another trip.  I want to try their cracker crust pizza.
