These Bucks Don't Stop

Last season, for the first time in 50 years, the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Finals to cap the 2020 - 2021 season.

It was a fantastic season and an ending few long-time fans of the franchise dared to imagine.

Sunday Milwaukee won game one in a best of 7 game series against the Chicago Bulls.  They are big favorites to win the series and advance to play either Boston or Brooklyn.

The team that wins 16 postseason games is the champion.  I hope the Bucks repeat but it will be a difficult journey.

On the positive side, most of the team is back and they understand what it takes to win a title.  Giannis, Jrue, Khris, Brook, Bobby, Pat, and Thanasis have another year of experience.  

Two of these four teams - Miami, Boston, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia - will be the next hurdles to jump in order to play for another title.

I'm rooting for them to get there.  It will be hard.  It's the hard that makes it great and worth the celebration.  Go Bucks!
