The Life Enrichment team hosted a car show on the University Woods campus of Oakwood Village Sunday.

Local car enthusiasts, staff, and residents provided the cars which ranged from a Ford Model A to a Tesla.

The most unusual car was an Allard (below right).  Wikipedia describes the Allard Motor Company as a London-based manufacturer which built 1,900 cars over ten years starting in 1945.

I heard of Allard cars on American Pickers. This was my first up-close look at one.

Three judges were tasked with choosing 'Best in Show,' and other winners.

I think the winners were the people who checked out the cars to hear about them from their owners or reminisce about cars they used to drive or want to take for a spin now.

One resident told me about his favorite ride, a 1955 Chevy Bel Air and how happy he was to see the 1930 Model A, the year he was born.

The muscle and fast cars were the most popular entries.  Owners and spectators bantered over horsepower, engine size, and what it takes to maintain these beauties.

The Plymouth Barracuda (photo left) caught my eye.  It looked fast standing still.

One car excited a guest so much they asked if it was for sale.  He said no.

If I could have bought any of them - I'd choose the electric-powered Tesla for everyday and the Pontiac Bonneville convertible for weekend drives.
