My Week that Was - December 5

The start of the week was the end of Thanksgiving weekend.

We had a quiet holiday.  We watched several episodes of the Andy Griffith show; several football games and a couple movies.

In keeping with our Covid traditions we took three pandemic drives.  The last one crossed the Wisconsin River on a ferry.

Monday morning I took another test for Covid-19, they've all been negative so far, and according to the American Red Cross I don't have the antibodies indicating a previous infection.

Tuesday I received the door opener that allows me to use the underground garage at work. When I picked it up I was told if the spot wasn't good that I could switch to another one.

I figured out why the next morning.  At the far end of the garage was the space.  On one side there was a cement wall.  On the other a four-sided cement pillar.  If I was driving a large SUV it would be a tough spot to.  Thankfully my compact car does just fine, although there isn't much room for error.

The inside parking proved beneficial yesterday when I had a few things to do in the office and realized I left something in the car.  Instead of bundling up for a long walk to the top parking lot, I was able to take a few flights of stairs and get what I needed in a short time.

The week moved fast from Monday to Friday, but it took a while to get to the weekend. Whew, I need it.

Enjoy your breather.
