Happy May Day!

Knock, knock.

Happy May Day!

Hopefully by now you have flowers growing in the garden or violets and dandelions in the yard.

If so, you have the makings of a May Basket.

Fold construction paper, if you have it, use some tape - hang it on your neighbor's door.  Knock or ring the bell and run!

Happy May Day!

May Day celebrates spring, and it's a good thing it is on the first of May instead of April.  We were still pretty cold then and due for two snow storms by the end of the month.

Joy wafts in on a spring breeze.  Even if today isn't wrapped in vernal glory.

A perfect May Day flower

It's a quite holiday.  Not a holiday,  more of a milestone on the road to June and July.  The Dandelions which look bright when first dotting our yards become enemies over the long summer.

Let's share the exuberance of spring with neighbors, friends, and co-workers.  Celebrate spring.

You feel the joy, you share the joy!

Happy May Day.
