May Day!

Whenever I see violets, I think back to our home on Garfield Avenue in Janesville where I picked Violets and Dandelions to give to mom or a neighbor.

At the neighbors, I'd hang the basket on the door handle, ring the bell and run.  For some reason, I don't think I bothered running from our door.

The violet is a perfect May Day flower because it is here such a short time.

It's a festival of spring, and after a recent week filled with rainy and cool weather, it feels like we should re-celebrate spring!

Make a little basket, or pick some flowers, and give them to someone to brighten their day, you'll feel good about it too.
