"But honey, what about the forecast? All the weather-ducks are predicting a major storm and you know you can't fly through bad weather like you used to."

"Are you kidding? It's getting colder and I can see ice on your tail feathers!"
"Hold on, hold on. When we see ice starting to form around the edges of the pond, we'll make a plan to leave. OK?"
"Do we have a choice? I doubt it...... wait, I feel something running off my feathers. Isn't that... ice?"
"Paddle faster!"

"Yep. Verona is nice in the late spring, the summer, and fall... but we need to get outta here. Let's fly!"
