Mooyah has a simple menu. Four burgers (basic, double, turkey, and veggie), an all-beef hot dog; salad. Yes, salad. Fries. And shakes.
Just the shake is enough to seek out a Mooyah nearest you. The recently opened store in nearby Fitchburg is their only Wisconsin location.
It makes sense to have one (or more) here though, right? I mean MOO-yah? It is American's Dairyland, after all!
Load up the burger or keep it nice and basic - you will enjoy the food. The burger has a nice light taste to it. Get it on a classic white bun, an all-wheat, or justify that shake by wrapping the burger inside a leaf of Iceberg lettuce.You can choose from 10 different shakes - also good for sharing.
In fact, if you are past the age of 30 - you should get a Mooyah buddy and share the meal. That way you can visit more frequently!
My meal included a classic Hershey's Chocolate shake and a Mooyah burger on an all-wheat bun with ketchup, mustard, and pickle.Juices flavor the burger and there 9 other sauces to lather your sandwich if ketchup and mustard are too old-school for your visit.
Instead of regular french fries - we chose the healthier (!) Sweet Potato fry option. I'd suggest ordering the small fry, which seemed like plenty for two.Lettuce to me is better on a burger than surrounding one. The management may agree, since the burger wrapped in green was delivered with a knife and fork.
Yah might feel like moo-ving a little slower after your meal, but this is a fun place to go. It offers a clean and colorful dining room and quick service.
It's not inexpensive, but is good value for the price. Mooyah is a fun place for a nice comfort food kind of meal.A place to grab a shake on the way home or to re-prise dating days gone by with a burger and a shake.
Two straws - one shake might also be a good option with the healthy sizes.
