Bursting Forth

If you know people (or are one) that doesn't respond to the first alarm or tends to roll over for another couple of winks before rolling out of bed a couple hours past sunrise - then spring is your season.

March 20 brought spring to us astronomically, perhaps, but spring as we celebrate it is a pretty recent arrival.

Jumping from bare branches to hints of green that suddenly erupt and blossoms about to burst into living color.

It's just in the last week around these parts that the grass started looking green and you could see the edges of tree take on a five o'clock shadow of green tint to their branches.  Each spring shower cooks spring into a boil.

Lilacs usually bloom around Mother's Day.  But the promise of fragrant purple blossoms can be seen on the tips of the bushes already.

Yellow, bright and brilliant as the sun, shines on the daffodils already among us that will soon complete their revolution around our hearts.

These weeks herald the coming attractions of spring and a glimpse of summer around the corner.  Enjoy them.
