Attempting Spring Haiku
Spring creeps like a cat
Flowers litter the hillsides
Its time for ice cream.
Spring 5:45
Mounds become gold flowers,
Jonquils pop into the sun
Islands of grass create an emerald sea
Lingering snow doesn't wipe its feet
Yelling can't make kids put on their coats.
April Showers....
April showers nay bring May flowers
The rain washes winter out
Out of streets
Out of grass
It kickstart streams and daffodils
Removes the last stubborn piles of snow.
