The New Breakfast of Champions!

Milk?  Check.

Juice?  Check.  Well, it's strawberry syrup, but that could be a juice, couldn't it?

It's time we embrace ice cream at the morning table... after all, cold pizza qualifies as a good breakfast food (at least in college).  It would seem in a country like ours (one of the more obese on the planet) that ice cream would find a bowl on the table.

Let there be naysayers, but certainly we can find ways to use it "properly."  One of my favorite ways to include ice cream for breakfast is slathered across a Belgian Waffle - who could say no to that!

You may have missed doing this today, unless you read my blog before pouring corn flakes on top of your bowl of ice cream (another great way to eat ice cream, by the way).  So, if that's the case, I suggest a re-boot and call the kids back to the breakfast nook for a morning meal, part II.

Not convinced and maybe a bit put off to the idea since it's, you know, extremely cold outside?  In that case, make a nice large cup of hot cocoa and add a scoop of vanilla.

The idea has already taken root here in America's Dairyland.  Everytime I've attended a special Breakfast on the Farm event, there is ice cream for dessert.

That is good enough for me.  I hope you enjoy your breakfast on "International Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day."
