NFC Title Time

A win today books a flight to Phoenix and a date in two weeks inside the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Two teams with 13 wins and 4 losses.  It's the same number of wins for both teams battling for the AFC crown today.

It will be a difficult game for the Packers to win in Seattle.

Months ago, at the start of the season the Seahawks pretty much had their way with Green Bay.  It was a tough moment, coming in trying to beat the Super Bowl Champs in their regular season home opener.  In the moments after the game, it was difficult to envison a rematch for the NFC title.

Judgement now rests on this game.  The past is behind Aaron, Clay, Julius, Randall, Coach Mike and the rest of the team.  All that matters is this game.

Looming in front of one of the NFL's top offensive squads is the vaunted "Legion of Boom" as Seattle's defense labels itself.  My prescription for the Packers is similar to other pundits and fans:  a fast start, no turnovers, and a strong defense against the Seahawks run game.

Yields from a well-executed game plan like the one above likely includes a big W.  It won't be easy.  Nothing that is worth it is easy.

This has been a fun season to watch and cheer for the Packers.

For the first time in a number of seasons, most of the players expected to play a major role have been able to be on the field each week.

The offense is able to move the ball through the air or on the ground.  A big day from James Starks and Eddie Lacy will boost Green Bay's cause today.

The defense is improving as the season goes on, and there are play-makers in several positions.  Julius Peppers, who drove north from Chicago, has lent a mature and hungry presence to this team and it's proving it can come up big.  A victory today will include some big plays by the Packer D.

I have a feeling about this team and expect to see them walk off the field having spent all they have in pursuit of a win.  I believe they will get it.

Let's go, Pack!
