Last Big Shopping Day

If you haven't done your Christmas shopping yet, time is running out.

Maybe you have been too busy.  Or you might prefer the challenge of waiting until there is limited time and supply.

Just a word of warning, there is a line between the sport of late in the fourth quarter of Christmas shopping and walking into a 24 hour convenience store after 11 Christmas Eve to check out the gift section.

It takes a confident person to find and ride that line.  Done correctly, you can show off the bruises acquired as you wrestled a vintage Cabbage Patch Doll from the clutches of an American Picker.

Looking down the cluttered corridors of the mall; you notice a packaged Green Bay Packer gift set with a jersey, hat, and DVD of all 13 Championship games.

You pick up the pace to a quick walk, then jog, until finally you are trying to out-sprint a green and gold wearing retired defensive lineman to get first prize.

Triumphant - you walk to the cashier gift in hand.  You pony up an extra couple of bucks for gift wrap place it in your renewable bag and walk out.

Checking the box at the top of the list, you look down the piece of paper only 10 more to go.

Other than the day after Christmas this is one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

Be careful out there... and take your list!
