Packer Time!

The season doesn't start for five months... but with the release of the schedule this week... it feels like football time.

There are some years where the Brewers are already playing in such a manner to make a fan long for the start of the gridiron season.  Not this year, at least over the first 21 games, things are looking good for the Crew.

But with just 16 regular season games - each chapter in their 2014 book is packed with meaning.

A big opening night for the whole NFL as Aaron Rodgers leads the Pack into Seattle to face the defending Super Bowl Champs.

The home opener 10 days later when the Jets fly into Austin Straubel airport.  Conference road trips to Detroit and Chicago; then home for the Vikings in a short week.

Hunting sea-going mammals in Miami and home again for hand to hand combat against the Panthers.  A big match up with Saints in New Orleans and a week off to recoup for the finish.

The Bears and Eagles show up on the endangered species list and an unusual outdoor visit to the roofless Viking playground.  A skirmish with Patriots in our homeland and a duel with trained Falcons put thirteen games in the books.

Then the men in Green and Gold finish with a roller coaster weather adventure in Buffalo and Tampa before welcoming the indoor Lions into the Lambeau lair.

Each game will be an adventure and those of us who can't wait to count our chickens are already putting W's on the schedule.

In the meantime, it's time to cheer on an exciting Milwaukee Brewer squad making things exciting in the Big Keg.
