Warm Up Coming!

If the forecast holds, tomorrow is supposed to hit 32 degrees, above zero.


We might be used to the cold, but a little warmth sure won't hurt.  If Accuweather can be believed the heat is coming - with high temperatures touching the 40s by the end of this month.

That first warm day is like a wrapped gift.

Unwrap it too fast and you might rush right past the moment.

Dawdle too long and the moment might leave without you.

Treasure it.  Breathe it.  See it.  Taste it.

The first warm day is unique.

It glows brighter in the sky.

It has a faint aroma of spring.

It tastes like an ice-cold water on a hot day.

Smiles are larger and eyes gaze skyward.  No more icy sidewalk shuffle or walking head down; face buried in a scarf to shield off the painful cut of winter wind.


The first warm day is not spring.  Not yet.  It's a tease.

A tantalizing glimpse of what we want.

There is still some winter to go, someday soon, spring will be here.
