... he goes. Son, Mark is into his third day on the job already - the first full-time job after a long national search to find the right fit and a place he can use the skills and talents honed after earning a degree at Ball State University.
This past weekend marked a significant chapter as the last of his stuff Mom and Dad still were caring for were loaded into his car and traveled down the highway to his (and its) new home.
Some of the stuff hasn't seen the light of day for more than 8 years - other stuff had been carefully packed away for the time he would get his "own place." There was even a bunch of stuff passed down from Mom and Grandma that he would need to set up his own household.
One thing for sure, you usually can't tell men (well, you can tell us - we just don't listen) how best to care for a frying pan or clean the bathroom on a regular basis. Really, until the potatoes are producing their own bumper crop under the kitchen sink, why would it be important to throw them away?
Equipped with a load of advice, cleaning gear, and a couple dozen butterflies - he was on the road eager to commence to start the beginning of his adult life.
Sorting through the posters, toys, and do-dads of childhood along with the tools of adult-living it seemed fitting to send him off with some help. We trust Mark to our gracious God's grace and blessing and (like we did on our first long trip to new start) installed a bright-eyed co-pilot for the ride.

"to infinity and beyond!"
