Last fall I rode the Sugar River Trail between New Glarus and Brodhead, a trip highlighted by a large flock of Sandhill Cranes resting on their migration south.
Today, it's time to return to the trail and watch it wake up into the spring.
I expect to find frogs chirping and birds tweeting and calling across the fields.
That's an interesting thing about riding - even at a fast pace (on a bike), it's slow enough to notice the things going on around you.
I also expect to find some good food, so I best get going, the bike is ready and so am I.
Happy riding!
