May - October

You've heard of May - December romances, but it seems in these parts we've accelerated the calendar from May to October in under 48 hours.

Yikes, it's chilly!

We are getting some nice soaking rain and cooler temperatures for it to soak in nicely, but some of us are wondering if the spring/summer was on some sort of spin cycle during this last week.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday were awesome - with sunshine, warm temps for loosened ties and rolled up shirt sleeves.

Friday, it's back to jackets, umbrellas, and galoshes!

(Does anybody wear galoshes anymore?  Ah, a subject for another time.)

Actually, the weather changes fast enough to put a crick in your neck and that's fine by me.  It's a nice way of making sure we pay attention to the nice days with flowers blooming, birds calling, and bees buzzing.

I'm pretty sure we haven't slid into the fall already, so be ready with smiles and open hearts when the sun warms us up again and enjoy the day!
