Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut

Sometimes, you don't.

While the squirrels outside the Wisconsin State Capitol have no idea how many how many nuts are right inside... they insist on continuing their search for food outside.

Good move, Buddy Squirrel.

The squirrels are starting to get excited these days since the frozen ground that's been covered in snow has kept them from finding the treats they laid away for later.

Isn't that just like us?

Especially as we get, shall we say, numerically challenged.

I've climbed the stairs - sure I'm about to locate the High School Yearbook that has disappeared.  No, it's nowhere to be found.

The 'lucky' t-shirt, sure to help my team to a win on the game starting in 20 minutes is not in the special drawer that holds game-day attire.  Where is it!!!???  How can I watch the game without the right shirt?

Worse yet, is walking down the hall to a colleagues office to inquire about a possible solution to a work problem, but by the time you rap on the door the question is already laying on the floor disappearing into the ether.

Don't give up!  Follow the squirrels lead and keep looking; keep working; and keep hunting.

Always remember this little piece of advice that I've tried to follow all of my life:  when you find what you are looking for... stop looking.
