Sun's Coming Up

Have you noticed the early morning visitor out your window yet?

Or perhaps had to lift a hand to block the glare for a long-forgotten fellow traveler?

It was nice to see the sunshine around 6:15 this morning - lighting up the sky and the neighbor with a beautiful glow.

To provide more light at the end of the day however, tomorrow is now the designated day (OK, it's actually Sunday morning at 2am, but I really don't think anyone does that) to hit the sunshine snooze button for a month.

A little vitamin D in the morning provides as much a vital start to the day as orange juice, toast, and a healthy morning cereal.  Some like to include coffee in that 'balanced breakfast,' I prefer I slightly off-balanced one with some Mt. Dew.

It won't be long until we get some early morning sun again - and thankfully here in the Central Time Zone we get our late sunrises at 7:15 and our early ones before 6am as summer approaches.

My friends back in Indiana will be plunged back into morning darkness starting Sunday morning, kids standing on dark street corners looking for the headlights of the school's bus.  Workers trudging from their minivan into work clutching their bag and hoping to see well enough to avoid the slick patches on the asphalt.

So I hope you enjoyed today, and check your forecast for tomorrow and set the alarm to head outside and give the sun a tip of your hat.
