March Madness Begins

The regular seasons for college basketball is over... the Championship Week is underway for conferences as teams fight for a first place tournament finish and a spot in the NCAA March Madness.

That's certainly the case at the smaller Division One schools, the 'Big Boys' in the Big 10 and the like use the conference tourneys to tune up and prepare for the 'Dance,' if they are confident of making it in, while others use the conference action to help put a nice 'shine' on their dance card resumes.

As a Badger fan, it's been a surprising year as the team pulled it together after a sluggish start to the season.  A stumble last week against Purdue didn't help nor did the loss at MSU... but hope is renewed again as the regular season records are tossed out the window for the conference match-up and again after this week is over and the brackets are unveiled Sunday night.

It's a great way to bounce out of winter and into the bright lights of spring and baseball season!
