Curves Ahead!

The curviest street in the world is supposed to be a section of Lombard Street in San Fransisco, California.

The brick street stretches past beautiful homes clinging to the hill while the round slinks from one side of the right-of-way to the other in grand style.

On our visit, we didn't have a car to drive down the street, so walked some of it instead.

It's one way, going down.

But the message from Lombard Street might be this - no matter how many curves we encounter on our one-way trip through life -  those curves provide flavor and experience (good and bad) that enrich our life.

If we think our life is a straight - arrow one, we are missing some clues to the road we travel.  Those curves (family, work, health, and other crisis of different size) make us the people we are today.

A street Lombard makes us stop and think when we see it.

On this quiet Sunday, take a moment to think about your road's curves and how through life's journey we became the people we are today with future curves providing some more seasoning.
