Can't Get It Outta Your Head

There's something about freshly baked stuff right out of the oven that can warm you from the inside out...
  • A warm slice of fresh bread with melted butter
  • A moist chocolate chip cookie that is so hot it nearly falls apart as it gets dunked in the cold milk
  • A muffin with pleasantly gooey blueberries under a sugar crunched crusted top
The home-made goodness has to be better than the store-bought because of an important ingredient you just can't purchase at the large retailer down the street.

Love.

Yup, that's the secret we learned about from a great Sammy Davis, Junior song...

Who can take a sunrise
Sprinkle it with dew
Cover it in chocolate and a miracle or two
The Candy Man

The Candy Man Can
The Candy Man Can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Who can take a rainbow
Wrap it in a sigh

Soak it in the sun and make strawberry-lemon pie
The Candy Man
The Candy Man can
The Candy Man can cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good

If you are of a certain age and were around in the early 1970s, you no doubt have the rest of this bopping tune banging around your skull right now, along with a pang in your tummy for something fresh from the oven.

I bet your hunger is gone before the song disappears!
