Thoughts of galoshes to keep shoes and feet dry.
Flowers poking stubbornly through goopy ground.
Flowing streams in curbs; across parking lots; creating a small lake by the sidewalk.
Bright golden rays of sunshine warm dark corners.
Sweet smells from the earth as it comes to life...
Soft sounds and calls from birds home from their winter's travel.
It's summer warming up in the bullpen...
throwing extra heat our way in May and early June before arriving June 21.
