Which Superhero is the greatest? (Is Batman a superhero? If so, what's his super power?)
And, the question that can launch more arguments and discussion among men of a certain age than any other.... Ginger or Mary Ann?
Ginger is the movie star. A knock-out. Inaccessible. Out of your league (maybe a blog for another day). Someone who would astound your buddies should she be on your arm at the next class reunion.
Mary Ann is the girl next door. Cute. Pretty. Friendly. A person you could introduce to your mom. Beautiful but not intimidating.
Guy's choices will tell you much about their taste and their ideas about women.
Trying to convince a Ginger admirer that Mary Ann is better choice would be like trying to make water rush uphill. It's just not going to happen. Same goes for informing a Mary Ann fan that Ginger is the only choice. No soap.
In 1,000 channel universe I doubt that cultural touchstone questions like these are lost for the young people of today. The good news is, one of those channels is likely showing 50 year old reruns of Gilligan's Island.
Watch for yourself and decide.
