An Autumn Palette

It's very close to peak color in southern Wisconsin and the array of colors are a wonder to behold.

The brilliant orange, incandescent yellow, rusty brown, and fading green creates a water color painting come to life on the hills and in the surrounding valleys.

It's my favorite time of year, a time worth savoring as we enjoy the dwindling number of warm days and sunny skies before sliding down those leafy hills into a starkly beautiful winter.

Wherever you are this week, take some time to look around you - take in the colors, breathe in the autumn air, and thank our God from whom all blessings flow.
