We Wuz Robbed!

This week's scandal of the century originates in the beautiful Oceanside community of Seattle, Washington.

By now, I'm sure you've heard of the debacle that left the young men of Green Bay boarding their jet back to Cheese land in the middle of the night with a precious 'W' packed in amongst the helmets and dirty uniforms.

Thanks to the convenience of a large screen HDTV and slow-motion, it seems pretty obvious that the wrong call was made (a couple of times) and the time that won the game was actual hung with an 'L.'

So, here we are - we being the operative term for team owners, such as myself - where do we go now?

My advice, like Coach McCarthy reminded the team - next up is New Orleans Sunday afternoon back on the home field.

Just like that, the team must turn the page and get busy with its preparation for the next game.  No more 'crying over spilled milk (or beer).'

It's good advice for each of us.  When adversity finds us - we can choose how to deal with it - and then we must, for our sake and the sake of those around us, move on.  Sitting by the side of the road talking about the good ol' days when the milk tasted good before it spilled isn't going to accomplish anything.

Let's follow the team's lead - when there are issues at home, work, or in one of those slow moving lines at a Big Box store - react in a calm and polite manner and then brush it aside and move on.

You will feel better.  Those around you will notice, and you can use the experience to make sure it doesn't happen again.

So, Pack, next time - let's score a few more points and knock the ball out of the back of the end zone.
