The most 'human' moment of the Olympics for me so far came during the Opening Ceremony when Sir Paul McCartney apparently became 'choked up' while starting to sing Hey Jude at the end of the evening.
The NBC announcers made note of it at the end of their broadcast - it certainly was a surprise to me.
When you think of how many times he's been on stage - in front of many famous people - and much bigger crowds - the opportunity to sing for his home country at their Olympics proved to be emotional.
Obladee, Oblada, Life Goes On? I think not.
